A downloadable game
Boomtown is a Retro 2D Western Game in development. It includes fast paced action and story based missions. Save up money to buy upgrades and vanquish bandits from the frontier!
This game has keyboard controls, but is meant to be played with a gamepad if possible.
Currently this demo download only works with Windows.

Your page doesn’t make it clear that the download is for Windows. I mean, I guess everyone assumes that if it doesn’t say otherwise, it’s probably Windows but 🤷🏻
I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was only for windows either ha! We are going to try to export it to Mac soon hopefully. We also have a lot of good updates coming so I will let you know, thanks!

Really cool game!
Just one thing, don't put the esc key for quitting the game, it was confusing, and I closed the game at least three times
Well it's usually used for pausing the game.
Oh, now I know. Most tutorials I've watched have taught me to include it as an Exit key. In the future we will have a pause screen and a way to leave game from there so the esc key will be removed eventually. Thanks for the feedback!
